Bluehill® 2 utilizes Instron's strong application background, developed over almost 60 years as a world leader. Bluehill 2 is directly compatible with a wide variety of Instron materials testing machines including:
Minimum required computer configuration for new purchases:

well as Laptops. Because computer technology is continuously
changing, it is strongly recommended that you consult
Instron for final approval of a particular model.

- Intel Pentium (Dual Core or Single Core) Processor: 2 GHz or faster clock speed
- 1 GB RAM
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later
- CD Drive
- Hard Drive: 1 GB Free Space
- Display: 1024x768 High Color
- 1 unused serial port
- 2 Ethernet ports (If network accessibility is required) (Specification, Rev 3.0 - "Short Card" Dimensions)
Instron Bluehill 2 with Versachannel Option
- 1 additional unused full-size PCI slot with minimum length of 6.6" and full height of 4.2" (Refer to PCI Local Bus Specification, Rev 3.0 - "Short Card" Dimensions)
