Random/Spectral Loading

Random/Spectral Screen ShotSelect image to enlarge Instron's 32 bit random software enables you to generate complex waveforms with recorded and derived data, to simulate in-service loading conditions.

Simple constant amplitude sine waves do not always accurately represent the loading seen by components which are stressed in service, for example, an aircraft, space vehicle, automobile or bridge. Random software enables playback of data derived from transducers mounted on components undergoing service stresses, or statistical data reduced to matrix form.

Provides simulation of real life loading through playback of load peak and through turning points obtained from standard loading spectra such as FALSTAFF or using data files obtained from components in service.
