The 3800 Series Slow Crack Growth Tester provides the capability to perform slow
crack growth creep testing in accordance with ASTM F 1473 (PENT) up to a capacity
of 68 kg (150 lbf). A 3800 system includes either six or twelve testing frames,
a high temperature conditioning oven, specimen loading fixtures, a specimen alignment
block, and control console with temperature controls and station timers. Specimen
notchers are also available to prepare specimens in accordance with ASTM F 1473.
