The 5860 Series Table Model Systems are ideal for tests requiring less than 50 kN force and where better alignment or a larger test specimen is used. These systems utilize Instron’s highest performance control and acquisition electronics and the industry standard Bluehill® 2 software. The twin column design provides better alignment and increased stiffness as compared with single column systems. These systems can be fitted with a wide range of grips and fixtures for tension, compression, bending and component testing. Additional accessories include extensometers for strain measurement and environmental chambers for high or low temperature tests.
Features:
  • Ultra high accuracy: +/- 0.4% of indicated load (down to 1.0% of full capacity)

  • Ultra high range: 500:1 force measurement range (i.e. use the load cell to down to 0.2% of full capacity with no loss of accuracy) at +/- 0.5% of indicated load

  • Load accuracy of +/-0.5% of the force reading

  • Ultra high data acquisition: 5000 Hz synchronous for all channels

  • Hardware control panel for operator convenience

  • Automatic transducer recognition for load cells and extensometers

  • Bluehill® 2 and FastTrack™ for 5800 software compatibility

  • Extra height and width options available

  • Second test space option

  • Library of ASTM and ISO test methods

  • Open architecture for user programming of tests

  • Full CE compliance
