5880 Series Floor Model Testing Systems

The 5880 Series Floor Model Systems are ideal for tests requiring less than 600 kN force and where a larger test specimen is used. These systems utilize Instron’s highest performance control and acquisition electronics and the industry standard Bluehill® 2 software. The large twin column design provides increased stiffness and is available with a base stand for convenient working height. These systems can be fitted with a wide range of grips and fixtures for tension, compression, bending and component testing. Additional accessories include extensometers for strain measurement and environmental chambers for high or low temperature tests.
